I've been looking and found some great end of summer pool deals. I am thinking about getting a round 24' seaspray evolution. Comes with a package and has Hayward 250 lb sand filter and 1.5 hp pump. $2363. Is price with me installing or I can pay a third party $850 to come do it. Is this a good pool with a good filter and pump setup?

My second question is that my back yard slopes a lot. I have a backhoe and can dig a level spot but was thing that water will still run off hill and wash out the pool. Could I do a gravel base with coragated pipe to catch water and divert it so it want wash the sand out? Don't know much about pools but not sure I am thinking right. I have another spot it could go. But this spot will allow me to tie in to existing 16x32 deck.

I'm going to let someone else answer part of your questions but I will tell you that a 1.5hp pump is too big for that size pool. One of our pump guys will hopefully chime in here and offer you some further suggestions.
