Intex Pool problem

I just hookup a the intex skimmer and vacuum and all of a sudden the vacuum release cap started shooting out water like it had a small crack at the top and now I notice water coming out of the other cap at the top...Do I need to replace the both plunger valves or is there a fix
It the little eraser thing that screw into the plunger valve to help you prime the pump

Ok no answer I will just buy new plunger valves. Now can someone with the intex skimmer tell me can I use this with intex sand filter?

Wish I could help but when I had my Intex EasySet it didn't have a skimmer and I had to rig up my own vacuum attachment.
