Hi guys. I'm very new to pools so pls bear with me. This spring I was losing water fairly quickly to my in ground pool. Needed to run the hose every day for half hour or a bit more. I kept an eye on some things and going a small leak from a fitting on my chlorinator so I replaced it and around that time it seemed to get better. Just adding once a week. Don't know if that was the definite issue. A week or some ago it started again. Friday I vacuumed it and now seems like I need to add it more than once or at-least run the hose for closer to an hour each day.

Here's the parts that's bugging me. I have a well beside the pool that my neighbor tells me to pump out every so often. Yesterday afternoon I pumped for a couple hours and the water level seemed to drop so I topped before I went to bed. Woke up and it's low again. There's no bubbles behind the liner. What does this well do? Any suggestions?

I have not monitored it yet with equipment on vs off but will start tomorrow
