Hello folks, problem we have is a hairline crack in the side of our 332 Pentair filter housing, if you know how the newer Housings look, right below the bracket that tightens the upper and lower together there are some decerative type bumps if you will , and htere is a hairline crack leaking water,

My question is is ther a type of glue or epoxy that will work to seal a hairline crack in plastic, or whatever material the housing is made of. Instead of having to buy a whole new filter assembly.

The unit is a 2006, so only 7-8 yrs old.

Thanks for your time.

You can try JB Weld epoxy or pool Epoxy Putty. You may want to drill some tiny holes in the crack for the epoxy to flow into to lock it in. Someone else just had good success with JB Weld in the last day or two.

But if the filter is under warranty that will void it.
