Picked up a pool the other day used....leveled land today...man, this is tough. Can't wait to dip into that water. Glad to be here, looking forward to the knowledge base.

What kind of pool is it? Liners typically cannot be re-used successfully.

Welcome to the Pool Forum!

It's a Colesseum model made by Strong Pools. It measured 21' round and the brochure I found said 54 1/2" wall.....can you clarify if I can use a 52" liner on this, seems the 54" liners are hard to find. It has a bead channel but had a J-hook liner in it when I took it down. Easy enough to take down, ground is level now, soon to put up and install sand base....trying to find a liner without going broke. Images attached.

Liner when I went to pick it up....it's not reusable, cut it out before assembly.

I cannot verify that for you but let me see if I can get one of our members who is a pool installer to comment. No promises, but I'll try.

In the meantime, read about our Super Simple Start-up Recipe which would be an ideal way for you to get the chemistry going once the pool is up and running:> http://pool9.net/ssr/

Also, go ahead and order a good kit so you'll have it when you're ready. Won't be able to buy it locally but can get it through this link:>

After reading some posts by, I guess the guy's the owner of the place, and learning that either I have to pay for something that I am not sure would benefit me without being able to actually explore it a little or be VERY limited in what I can discuss here due to so many restrictions being placed, I have decided to ask you to CANCEL my username.

I can actually learn a ton more NOT being a member than I can being a member which, to me, is dumb and I have never experienced on any other "DISCUSSION" forum. Thanks...but no thanks.

Isn't it great that there are so many other options available on the Internet?

Feel free to explore some of them!

Best wishes,
