Hi there,

I need help selecting a robotic pool cleaner, my Dolphin Diagnostic just kicked the bucket!!! I am looking for one that fit this criteria:

1. Price range Less than $800
2. Can handle 20x40 pool and/or (optional) ->can handle poolside rock texture
3. Bag cleaning isn't too labor intensive
4. Good warranty

Thanks :)

Ouch! I had two Dolphin Dynamics--the second was a warranty replacement for the first. The first worked well for 2 years, then started having problems. The 2nd never worked properly and I sold it, with full disclosure, at a big loss.

I can't really help you. I have a Blue Diamond Wireless remote and it meets #'s 2, 3 and 4, but costs about $1500.

Give the Barracuda series a try. I bought a used one off of Craigs List after my Hayward Navigator died and its 1000% better.

No moving parts and a new diaphram costs less than $15, it cleans up to the water line where the old Hayward was costing me $75 a year in overhaul parts and only cleaned the bottom of the pool.
