High copper levels , zero alkilinity, zero PH, zero chlorine. Water is clear, no staining. Used Metal Free product to suspend copper (5 bottles !) over the course of a week.
How do I raise PH, alkilinity, chlorine? used Soda Ash and Shocked pool and no changes. what process and what order do you recommend for solving this problem.
We found and removed a brass plug and believe this could be the copper source..? (We also removed the pool heater.)
Do I have to raise the alkilinity before I can get the PH and Chlorine levels up?
