Just doing some research and reading on the Intex pools. We just bought a 16x48 ultra frame. I'm wondering how sturdy the pool is. I am constantly telling my kids not to fool around, don't lean on the side, etc. It doesn't seem like this will be much fun for anyone if I am in constant fear of the pool collapsing. It is on level ground and has been up for one day.

I have no idea but we do have a lot of members here on the forum who do have Intex pools who hopefully can give you their opinion.

I don't know how sturdy the frame pools are, but even the donuts stand up to being leaned on. Frankly, we have NOT heard about Intex frame pools collapsing generally, and certainly not in use. Correct me if I'm wrong.

They are very sturdy. I just don't like my grand kids kicking off the sides of the pool. But they lean and hang on the rails all the time. Hasn't been a problem and we've up graded from the Intex Pop-up to the Ultra-frame 22'. You shouldn't have to worry. BTW if you are using the original filter system, run it 24/7 and I would clean filter every other day.... just a thought
