View Full Version : Nicheless lights- which are brightest?

I bought a house with pool and the only light in it is a single, dead fiber-optics thing-a-ma-ding.

My only replacement option (until I resurface next year) is a nicheless LED that will fit 1.5 inch fitting. I know there are 3-4 options: Jandy Pro Series; Savi Melody; Aqualumin, and Hayward. Perhaps there are others.

Can anyone add any insight as to which of these is the brightest option? I have not been able to find specs that show lumens.

PS. I would have searched first but a new post is required for new members.

Sorry, I can't help you with your question but here is a link you can use to search with. It will search all of the forum plus our sister website www.poolsolutions.com. It is a lot better than trying to use the search feature that is part of the forum software.

My experience - the Jandy. Just make sure you have enough room to install the hardware in the fiber-optics fitting BEFORE you cut the cord. You will also need a transformer as these work only on 12 volts.
