Good evening. I just erected my Intex 15x48 metal frame pool. I placed the poles inside the restraining rope, as directed. However, while straightening the vertical poles, it seems the rope is too tight. When I straighten one pole, the pole next to it get "pushed in" by the rope. I have not filled the pool yet, but wondered if the rope could be too tight? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Isn't that rope just connected at its ends with a square knot? Can't you just untie, and re-tie it a bit longer?

The rope will stretch when you fill. We have the same pool and I was worried about that also, but as the water level comes up, there will be enough pressure to straighten the legs.

Thanks Pappy. I didn't know that, but it makes sense.

Thank you, all. I hope to (finally) fill the pool this evening. I actually untied the rope and straightened the legs - now the rope is to short! I will re-tie the square knot prior to filling (even though some legs will lean inward) and see if the water pressure straightens them out inside the rope. Will report back soon. Thanks again.

Good morning all. I filled the pool last night (took 12 hours!!). The poles are straight and the rope is fine. Thanks for all the advice/help.
