Hello all. I have a 13 year old pool which actually looks pretty good after it is acid washed; but, I would like to have the clean white look again as if it were new. However, I do not want to incur the large cost of re-plastering considering the current plaster appears to be in good shape. I stumbled across a "roll on plaster" on the web: http://www.sider-crete.com/pool-plasters-deck-coatings/?gclid=CPj8vcjV6r4CFehQOgodgjYAZg I would like to hear from anyone who is familiar with such a product and whether it is recommended or not. Also, although the product is something most folks could possibly apply themselves, I have a bad back and thus prefer to locate a contractor to apply it. Does anyone know of a contractor in the Columbia, SC or Augusta, GA area to apply this product or a product like it? THANKS!

Not a process or product I'm familiar with . . . but you're doing the right thing by looking for a LOCAL contractor familiar with the product. You might try calling the local pool wholesaler, and asking for references. I don't know where the nearest branch is, but you can call SCP at
109 Northpark Boulevard
Covington, LA 70433-5521
985.892.5521

and ask for the phone of the nearest branch.
