We've had the Pool Frog system for about 4 days. My 6 year-old started developing what looks like wide-spread heat rash on her torso within the first day of swimming. There are no bumps and it doesn't itch. I'm wondering if it is a reaction to some of the minerals? She's been swimming in our pool since her birth and has never had any problems until now.
I realize this isn't a medical site, just trying to see if there's any helpful info.
Thanks!

You might want to rethink the Pool Frog system. It does not keep the pool sanitary and safe. If you want to read some about them, use this link: http://pool9.net/search/ and search for "Pool Frog." That will search all of the Pool Forum and all of our sister website www.poolsolutions.com. It is actually a much better way to search than using the search feature that is a part of the forum software.
(Until your registration is completed, you will not be able to see the rest of the forum. So, copy the link and paste it into a browser window after you log out.)
Welcome to the Pool Forum, by the way!

If it looks like this:

she may have hot-tub follicultis, due to poor sanitation associated with "Frog" use. The bumps are usually, but not always, itchy. You'll want to read this article: www.skinsight.com/adult/pseudomonasFolliculitisHotTubFolliculitis.htm
And if you've been using a non-chlorine shock, you'll need to read this article:
