I have a concrete mounted pre-filter coming from the main drains and going to the pump. It has a large nylon mesh permanent mount filter bag with air tight cover. I need to find out what it is called so I can find somewhere to buy replacement parts. pool is 20 years old.

You stumped me! I've never even heard of such a think.

Post a picture, using this button http://www.poolforum.com/pf2/images/editor/insertimage.png and a link to a photo on Picasa, Flickr, Google Drive, Photobucket, etc. and maybe we'll be able to come up with something.

Here they are:

Now that I've seen them, I still have no idea. I don't recall ever seeing anything like that, even in a catalog.

I think your best bet for finding those is to find some old pool guy who knows (unlike me, an old pool guy who doesn't know!). PoolSpaForum.com has the highest % of pool biz users, of any forum you can access, so you might post there. I created some short links for the images below. To get them to work, post them WITHOUT the extra spaces.

Another option would be to call some of the swimming pool parts online stores, and email them the picture links.
