My pool was installed 4 years ago, and a Comfort Chlor CC550D from Aqua Comfort was installed.
In searching posts and the internet I'm finding this system appears the same as the 305PX from American SPS, and also the Nexa Pure.
I'm finding little technical info.
After about 1.5 year service the controller started to generate all kinds of error messages and worked intermittently. After nagging the pool company for a while they replaced the controller, and all was well, until now.
When I opened the pool this spring and getting the chemistry correct I switched the swg on and it was making air (gas) instead of chlorine. I replaced the cell, still air and no chlorine. I'm thinking it's splitting water rather than salt.
Any one out there have any suggestions?
Needless to say I'm not happy with this unit at all, or swg in general.
Did I make a mistake choosing the swg system?

Looks like that's a discount Chinese made system. Google doesn't have much info on it, and their contact address is a PO Box.

From past experience, I can tell you it's a very bad sign when the that's the case. I'm guessing you're on your own with that unit. But here's what I found:

You can try this info, from their domain registation:

For future reference, I'm finding more and more reason to advise pool owners to avoid Chinese made products, unless there is a very strong US presence (like Intex, for example). Otherwise, most Chinese product support seems to be of the 'dump and forget' variety.
