Opening pool but not filling??

I took the cover off today and notice the water is actually a few inches deeper than I drained. I started filling for some time but water not rising. I assume I have a main drain issue as the water is not high enough for the returns and the liner looks good all around. I guess I need someone to run a camera or something down the main line. Should i call the pool guy or a plumber. Any advice? I think I have an expensive fix coming up... :(

How long is "some time"? How big is your pool?

My pool is 16x40 so each foot of water is 4787 gallons or aprox 400 gallons per inch. If you can get 10 gal/min from your hose that's 40 minutes just for 1" of water.
