I think it would be great to have the "What does your pool look like" thread going again. So many awesome pools out there-but my fav was the 1 person "bucket" pool!
Unfortunately I don't have a pool of my own-yet-to post the 1st one.

In the old forum I posted a link to my pool construction page (with time-lapse video!)

Here it is: http://wateringmadeeasy.com/rob-pool/

Ooooooooooh!!! Aaaaaaahhhh! I love the entrance/slope. Beautiful pool! We're renting our house and the pool was definitely what made the decision to do so. It's not fancy schmancy like y'alls but here it is:

Here is a link to some pool pictures that JLove posted in a different forum discussing pool finishes. It is a beautiful pool, so I am referencing the link here for people who might not read the construction forum so they can enjoy them, too. (It is the third post in the thread.)

Your pool & backyard are BEAUTIFUL! I don't even want to think about how much that cost, but it looks like it was worth every penny! Absolutely awesome.:)

JLove,
I echo what Sherra said. Breathtaking pool! Totally awesome! (LOVE the BBQ area!)

Well, I told the wife she can do the addition to the house if I get to do the backyard no questions asked. I'm really really happy with the way it turned out and like I explained to her, it's the price equivalent to a luxury car, but we'll get way more out of it. Thanks for the comments guys! Here's another couple:

hey hey,
I live in Hollywood, Florida. south florida house was built in the 1970's as was the pool, living here 3 years so far. here are 2 before and 2 after pics from the last hurricane season, alot of damage both inside and outside. We are currently remodeling the house inside/outside hopefully in the next 2-3months the front and backyard landscape will be done. The pool is not all fancy but it does keep us cool in the summer time and all year :)

Chris,

I used tumbled bluestone (flagstone) for the coping and chilton limestone (Natural Stone Veneer) for the Walls and Spa Surround.

PhantomAndy,

I enjoyed looking at your construction photos. We are waiting for concrete decking on Tuesday. I like your liner too! Here is a picture of our pool right now:

Finally got a chance to get a decent shot of mine. I realized the one I use here is a few years old.

http://tinypic.com/13zu82a.jpg

That's actually 9 photos stitched together. I couldn't afford the wide-angle lens needed to get that shot! If you are interested, the software is free and really easy to use: http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html

You need to use BB Code. It's there at Photobucket. This is msehome's pool.

Lovely pool, landscaping and your pool partner is just beautiful. Maybe I can get my non swimming lab to float...we haven't tried that.

Here are mine. We have quite a bit of landscaping to do. Oh, and it was filled on Friday. So, I've only been swimming in it for a few days now. The decking still needs to get its color and sealant. That'll be done in the next couple of weeks as we will be out of town.
