Skimmer Weirs & Jets

Aloha and thank you for having this forum. Being a new pool owner in Texas, I've learned a lot in 24 hours and know that I have already saved $$$ based on my initial visit to Leslie Pool (glad I decided to research before I bought chemicals there).

My question is on Skimmer Weirs. The existing pool does not have weirs - I think it was removed prior to my purchase. I am looking to buy replacement weirs and wanted to know if there is a difference in brands, types, etc.

Also looking to replace my jet heads. Same question - any difference? I saw a V-fit by infusion, as well as "The Circulator" on amazon. Are these effective?

1. Weirs are specific to the skimmer. You'll need to find the exact make / model of skimmer in order to find the weir. Pictures would help us help you. Post using Photobucket, Flickr, Picasa . . . or email them to poolforum@gmail.com and include the thread ID # (23016).

2. I've never seen any evidence that fancy return jets do anything of value, with respect to the pool. If your looking at spa type returns, to massage someone in the pool, that's different matter.
