Hi all!
Good to be back and glad's it's POOL season again!!!!! :-)
I am going to be setting up my big blue blob of a pool soon and would like to avoid the rust problem for a change.
We have a well so the water is hard and full of iron. Each year I fill it, lower the PH and add chlorine and of course it's turns a lovely rust red. ;-) I have not been able to avoid this problem and am hoping to find a solution before I fill it up.
Also, last year I had quite the mustard algae problem at the close of the seaon!!! It was clear when I took the pool down, but how do I AVOID this???? This was the first time we have ever had to battle it and it was not fun.
Thanks for any advice and help.
