how to prepare a sandblasted concrete 33x14 in-ground swimming pool for freezing temp? I've decided to paint it next year. Do I cover it with tarp and leave it as it is? Thanks

Better put primer on it, if that's possible. Otherwise, you better fill it up.

Porous concrete does not do well with freeze-thaw cycles.
