Yep we have a leak in our IG 20x40 vinyl, I have found them but still leaking. Not sure if my patch is holding. Found a great post here about dye and patching, can't wait to interact with it. I need to see the pics, that water is a bit too cold for me to be in right now and one poster has a contraption that will keep me from getting cold and wet.

I always double-patch. First patch is about an inch or two bigger than the hole all around, second is MUCH bigger, about an inch to 2" bigger than the first patch. "Boxer" brand glue works best for underwater patches. I use a rubber tile roller to flatten it and get the edges.
For me, a GREAT investment was a full-length wet-suit, with boots, hood and gloves--and weights. That way, I can get it when it's cold comfortably and work. It's not an expensive suit, or gear but it's perfect for the job: fixing my pool's leaks.

Or ..... you can have someone hold you under while you apply the patch. But, just make sure it is someone who likes you!!:eek:;)
