Hello all! I as others with SLC have to add acid every other day to keep pH below 7.8, Alk ranges from 80 to 100. Calcium passed 200 over the winter and at that pH I have those dreaded calcium growths on gunite walls. Have been topping off with softened water instead of auto-fill from city water. So I got to wondering if anyone made a slow disolving acid table?
Prost!

Tha Beerman,
I presume you meant SWC instead of SLC.:)
The idea of an acid tablet would be neat, but as SWCGs (see my post in the forum faq) normally need muriatic acid, you would have to convert the alternate form of sodium bisulfate (Dry Acid) into tablet form. Whether it could be slow-dissolving, it's possible, but probably not economically viable.
Maybe someone else can help.
By the way, my favorite beer is John Courage pale ale, difficult to get in Florida, but I know I can get it in Chloride, Arizona.:D Ah well!
