As the subject suggests, I just filled our new round 12' x 30" deep Metal Frame Intex.

I did a lot of ground prep attempting to level before filling, but still ending up off by about 2.25".

Just wondering if this will be safe for the next 3-4 months before coming down for the winter.

Either way, I'm planning on re-leveling next season, but I'll do it now if it's a major safety concern.

Thanks in advance!

It sounds like a lot to me. Ask your self this: What will happen if the pool fails? Where will the water go and what will it destroy? Risking the pool is one thing, flooding your (or your neighbor's) basement is another.

If it were to fail, it would flow harmlessly into the woods... my yard has a slope so I was initially proud that I came pretty darn close to level.

My gut feeling is a pool this small may should be fine, but 2" off level seems to be the line a lot of people draw. I'm 2.25... ugh!

Couldn't live with it. Kept picturing my 5yo washing away into the woods! Drained, re-leveled, refilling... so far so good!
