I was sure I was on track to buy a used AG pool but I've heard (well my wife has) stories about that not being a good idea and the pool falling apart prematurely.
I'm very handy and very capable (with online help and tips) of installing an AG pool. So I don't expect it to be my poor installation that would be the problem.

ADVISE please, I plan on buying a used (7yrs old or newer) 21ft Aluminum and resin pool. Is this a good idea?

Also...
Do the uprights (once the ground is fully level) need patio stones underneath them for extra support?

I was sure I was on track to buy a used AG pool but I've heard (well my wife has) stories about that not being a good idea and the pool falling apart prematurely. Moving AG pools doesn't usually go well. Count on buying a new liner, the old one probably won't go back.
I'm very handy and very capable You'll have to be. (with online help and tips) of installing an AG pool. So I don't expect it to be my poor installation that would be the problem. Will you be involved in the removal of the pool? If so, can you refuse purchase if the bottom (underground) parts of the pool are rotten or broken?

ADVISE please, I plan on buying a used (7yrs old or newer) 21ft Aluminum and resin pool. Is this a good idea? Probably not - It'll depend on you.

Do the uprights (once the ground is fully level) need patio stones underneath them for extra support? Yes, patio stones should be dug in under the uprights and remember dig to level, undisturbed soil - measured level, nobody can eyeball it.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
