View Full Version : How full is full on an easy set pool?

I know the instructions for the easy set pool say to fill it up to the ring. Today while I loafed in my little pool I noticed that the sun shining through the ring showed the seam where the ring was attached to the side was a couple inches above the water level. How high do you folks fill your easy set pools? Just to the bottom of the ring?

A little under filled seems to be OK - the extra wall just sits on top if the water. I would not fill it so much that the water's above the seam.

We had some heavy downpours today so it should be getting close to the seam. I'll keep an eye on it.

from our experience when we had a small easy set, the fuller it was, the more likely the walls would collapse letting tons of water out when the kids climbed in and out over the wall. Some of the easy set style pools have a printed mark in one area inside of the pool showing you what your water level should be... the one we had actually had the mark 3-4" below the seam of the air ring.

This sounds like an easy way to lower the pool level to a kid usable level. ;)

The trouble is that the water coming over the donut can hold it down - pretty much until the pool is empty.
