I did a search and wasn't allowed to access any search results. I'm sure this has been covered before, so feel free to delete this post after i've gotten an answer. I attempted to level the ground using all purpose sand, and when I moved a 4 x 4 with bubble level around the ground area, it showed level. Well, suprise suprise, as water fills the pool, sand compacts in some places more than others. I now have approximately 4" difference from one side to the other. I have an intex 15 x 48 AGP. Will this difference be too much for the pool wall? Any assistance on this is appreciated.

I would say 4" is too much. I personally know that it's way too much for an easy set (donut) pool and suspect that a metal frame pool wouldn't do well either.

To level the pool - dig, not fill to level. Building up with sand has the added hazard of washing away from un der the pool in heavy rains. Remember (you apparently already know), Level means measured level not looks level.
