I invited a problem in to my pool this year by using calcium bicarbonate to get water chemistry correct. Is there anything that will help precipitate the resulting cloudy, milky look out of the water? We have been filtering for three weeks and while it appears to be a little better, but the end is a long way off at this rate. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Checked Google Maps, to see what sort of pool you have . . . but you gave a business address, so that didn't help.
Possible (partial) solutions:
(1) Slowing flow through your filter . . . if it's a sand filter. AG pools typically have oversized pumps matched with undersized filters, and benefit the most from this.
(2) Replacing the Asian cheapo cartridge in your cartridge filter (Pleatco, etc.) with a OEM grade Filbur or Unicel cartridge.
(3) Using polyquat to help filter the particles. It's an algaecide that is also an excellent clarifier.

(4) Turning your pump off -- ideally after adding polyquat -- for 24+ hours; letting the dust settle, and then vacuuming to waste.

PS: Where did you get a hold of calcium bicarbonate?
