We recently purchased a foreclosure home that has a beautiful concrete pool. The house had been empty for over 2 years and the pool was a black lagoon!

We think the previous owners had a problem with black mold as we found information printed off the internet about treating black mold in a pile of stuff in the pool house.

We have had someone come out and drain the pool, clear all the junk out of it and pressure wash and acid wash the pool. We are left with a lot of staining, mostly at the deep end that is unsightly. The pool is white so the stains really stand out. The pool guy told me that he was scared to do another acid wash as he was afraid that it may cause damage to the plaster, this he said would be expensive to correct. (the stains look like mold but he assures me there is no mold)

My question is will chlorine bleach the stains eventually or do I need to start saving to have the pool resurfaced?
The pool is filling slowly so I am not sure what it will look like once filled.
The water has a slight blue tint to it as it is filling, is this because we are filling from our well?
Would appreciate some input - thanks in anticipation

Sorry no one got back to you sooner. Water should be blue. Chlorine may lighten the stains but I'd start saving.
