Hayward or Pentair for VS pump upgrade?

I'm at a crossroads and it's time to upgrade to a VS pump. I was at my local Leslies today and the salesperson recommended the Hayward EcoStar instead of the Pentair Intelliflow. She stated that the Hayward is more efficient. They are both on sale at the exact same amount. Anyone have any real advice for me before I sink this much money into my system? Everything else I have at this point is Pentair but was told the Hayward is compatible with my current setup.
