Hi,
I'm actually posting a question for a friend (but I happen to be a new pool owner too) that has an inground plastered pool with a crack that runs from the bottom of the pool in the shallow end up the side to the top of the pool. He is losing about an inch of water a day. He hired a leak detection company to verify the source of the leak. The inspector recommended resurfacing with fiberglass instead of plaster since fiberglass is a flexible material. If it were to crack again, the section could be repaired unlike plaster. Any thoughts on other options or feedback on converting to fiberglass surface. Thanks!
