Paramount MDX question

Hi All,

I have one of these debris removal systems in my pool (only about 12 months old). I've only been in the house for a few months so I don't know how well the system works.
My problem is the leaves just seem to bunch up around the removal point, I do get some leaves finding their way in to the filter basket, but essentially it always looks like the picture below (actually, usually there is double the amount of leaves). I'm no expert, but to me that doesn't look like it's doing a good job of removing debris, rather just trapping them in the one spot.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello, and welcome to the forum!!

Unfortunately, it may take quite awhile for you to get any responses, partly because I'm not sure if we have those systems in the US, and partly because folks have closed down their pools for the winter, and so traffic forum gets very, very slow. Also, until Ben (Pooldoc) completes your registration, the only way you can browse the forum is by logging out, going to the forum main page, and then looking for any post made by me, Watermom, or Pooldoc. In our sigs is a google search link that will allow you to search through the entire forum and archives, so you might find some useful info by searching that way until traffic picks up a bit around here, or until someone familiar with your system happens along.
