Bottom line is I am green.
24'x52" AG
approx 14645 gal
Liquid bleach daily
Liquid shock weekly
Muratic when PH gets high.
Current test results
3.6 fc
.2 cc
60 TA
120 Calc Carb
60 CYA
Last actions
Added a little less than a half gal Muratic
Currently adding boxes of Borax (I bought 4)
Keep on keeping on? Or am I screwing the pouch?
thanks in advance

You don't list a pH level, so I can't advise you on that--but it seems odd to me that you've added muriatic and now you are adding Borax? What is the current level?
To clear up your pool you're going to need to run your chlorine up to 20 ppm and hold it there until the pool clears up and until you can go from sundown one night to sunup the next morning without losing any chlorine.

PH 7.2
I saw that I had left that out. But my post had to go through the mod before I could edit.
I began with the muratic because I had used that in the past to bring the PH down. And a side effect seemed to be that it also cleared the pool (it was just dull at the time). A few days ago my ph was high (top of the test kit.) and the pool green. So I figured "two birds, one stone"
My brain was saying high ph = chlorine not working=green pool. So my brain said +muratic = good ph + Chlorine= clear pool.

If it's still green, you need to think chlorine + chlorine + chlorine = clear pool. :)

OK I am at a translucent aqua now.
Just finished vacuuming and cleaning strainers (skimmer/pump) Keep dosing with liquid chlorine until clear??
PH low 6.5 (brought it back down before last dose 6 gal)
FC high 22
CC difficult to measure extremely light and cleared up just looking at the reagent.

Not till clear; till NOT-green, even after brushing. Clearing up the dead algae is a job for your filter or vacuum, not chlorine. But you have to kill it first.
Don't worry about CC levels; with algae in the pool, they may fluctuate some. Just concentrate on the FC levels, until all the algae is long gone.

will leaving the solar cover hurt? Evenings are getting cold. If I can I want to salvage whatever heat for when it clears?
And thanks I know you all are on your own dime helping out. I appreciate it.

Leave the pool at least partially uncovered; when chlorine is cleaning up a mess, chlorinated byproducts form and are released. The BEST way to get rid of them is to let them gas off, and be destroyed by sunlight. But they can only do that if the gasses are not trapped by a vapor proof cover.
In fact, leaving a cover fully in place during clean up, can damage the cover! Happens on spas regularly.
