I just installed solar panels on the roof. They are installed on 2 different levels. Everything is sloped in the right direction - but I keep getting alot of air returning to the pool.

I can't find any help in the installation directions for this. I'm thinking it might have to do with the location of the vacuum relief. It is currently on the higher panel set.

How does the vacuum relief work? Could The pump not be putting enough pressure on the sytem to close it? My filter normall operates at 10 PSI (Jucuzzi - 2 big filters) - with the solar - it is up to 18 psi. I think someone also mentioned moving the vacuum relief around in the system -- to resolve the problem. ( but I don't understand the mechanics of how that would work?).

Thanks!

I just figured something out - but still not there yet.

When I partially close (restrict) water flow to the roof and send some though the bypass -- I eliminate the air bubbles - but I'm sending some water to the roof and some water through the bypass.

So it appears when I send full water pressure up - it creates a vacuum and lets air in.

This is temporarily OK -- but it wont work with the automated controller.

How do I solve this problem?

BTW -- heating an IG pool.
Thanks
