Hi,
I am in the process of choosing a contractor to refinish my pool. It has been suggested to me that diamondbrite is an excellent material to use for the new surface. It looks very nice and very durable. I am wondering if anyone here has any thoughts about it from their experience with having used it in their own pool renovation projects. What other surfaces are recommended to use? Is one better than the other? Any info appreciated.
Also, as an addendum to my other recent post, I'd like to know if anyone has any thoughts on using diamondbrite, which is a pre-mixed product that contains quartz crystals, versus using colorquartz which is, from what I've been reading, added to the plaster mix on the job site. I've heard that diamondbrite is the superior product, being polymer modified and a controlled factory mix. Does anyone have any thoughts? I have no experience with either one.
Thanks.
