We had the pool professionally leveled and put 3 inch blocks under the u shaped legs. The mistake I made was not putting the blocks horizontal with the bottom of the "U"; instead I put them vertical so the blocks would be centered in the middle of the 'U'. We had torrential rains last night and the pool filled up and buckled 6 U shaped legs on one side. Intex says these legs are out of stock. Anyone ever straighted bent U shaped legs successfully? So frustrated with myself, the rain and the pool!!! Thanks in advance.

You might be able to get a muffler shop to do it.

Hmm-mh. You could probably make new ones with 1 1/4" EMT and a bender:

http://constructionsupplycentral.com/1-1-4-x-10-electrical-metallic-tube-emt-conduit.html (But check Lowes & Home Depot)

Bender (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B003TLMJFG/poolbooks) @ Amazon
Handle (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B003TLMJGA/poolbooks) @ Amazon
Cutter (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B005M2A3GC/poolbooks) @ Amazon

You can buy a 1" and a 1.25" EMT coupling, to take home and compare to your tubing sizes. And, you can hire an electrician to fit the tubing, instead of DIY.

Thanks for your responses. I really think there's no hope for these legs. By the time this posted as a new thread, I have found someone who is selling their old pool on Craig's list; so I may end up with some used legs. Still it will be 18 used legs for the price of 6 new legs and I can get them this week.

Sounds like a better solution, to me.
