I have been visiting this site for 3 years -- learned a lot. I finally bought the test kit. My results are
fc-2.5
cc - 0
ph - 7.2
alk - 70
cal - 190
cya - 25
temp - 83
35,000 gal 20 year old gunite.

I bought a heater 2 years ago and in the documentation it recommends lower calcium because "things" can grow in the heater and it won't be covered. so I try to run the calcium around 200. If I bring up the ph a little will the alk go up or down (I can never remember everything I read at this site).

If you want to bring up the ph, use Borax, it won't raise the alk. much, if at all. But since you have low alkalinity - you want it between 80 - 120, you can add baking soda - it will raise both ph and alk.
Here is a link for the bleach calculator, click on the top more calcs) and there are other calculations, there is one for ph and alk

Thanks my ph went up to 7.5 so that looks good --
If I want to increase the calcium a little what do I add --- I really don't want to get the powder chlorine with the calcium but if that is all I can do that I can use some pucks.

You can buy some calcium chloride and use that instead of cal-hypo if you prefer.
