Hi, we've been using our new 18' AG inflatable pool for a few weeks now.
It's filled with cloramine city water. We are treating the pool before it goes "bad". Are there formulas/ratios for balancing the pool chemically using the BBB method to treat the pool. What are they? Do we dump the calculated amount in all at once or is there a recommended method? Is the pool safe to use during this process.
Thanks, William

Welcome to the Pool Forum!
There is a lot of helpful information posted in this link: http://www.poolforum.com/pf2/showthread.php?17055 . You may have to copy-and-paste it into a new browser tab or window. It gives start-up instructions for temporary pools.

William, make SURE you have a patch kit on hand. I'm not sure if it's cats, birds, or something else. But a LOT of inflatable ring pool owners have troubles with holes showing up a week or so after they set up their pools.

Thanks! both of you. Your assistance gave us a good start. Were just started refilling the pool. It should be full in about 16 hours. Got the start up supplies n will order the rest thru amazon. I'll check if it has the patch kit. Are those holes typically pon the sidewall or top rim?

PoolDoc is referring to the inflatable ring. Not sure if birds are landing on it and poking holes in it with their claws or what but they seem to require patching often. Just be sure to keep a kit on hand in the event that it begins to deflate so you don't end up losing your pool water.
