I've been lurking for a while I figured I'd finally join :)
Last summer we set up a 12' inflatable ring pool for the kids (wouldn't have been my first choice, but it was free) and had nothing but trouble keeping the ring inflated (using the BBB method, water was the least of our problems with that setup.. it was constantly filling up and attempting to patch the inflatable part so the pool didn't collapse) so this year we bought a 10x30' summer escapes metal frame pool and the kids have been enjoying it. I'm hoping that next year our youngest will be tall enough to safely swim in a 42" or 48" deep pool so we can get something a bit bigger.
