I have an old PS233 kit that I have not used in quite a few years (6 or more?) since a pool service has handled chemistry. Now I am thinking of switching to SWCG and getting back to testing for baselines, etc., and back here for a refresher.

Is there anyth8ing from the old kit that would still give accurate results? The R-0871 FAS-DPD is the only thing empty. Always been in A/C out of sunlight. Actually I have been reading threads on SWCG and have not searched on test kit longevity. I would get the 2006 and salt kits, but would like to know if any of what I have is still useful.

Bill.

You'd need to replace the DPD powder and the FAS-DPD solution, and probably the phenol red. Otherwise, it should be fine, if stored in reasonable temperatures.

Wanting to make sure I get the right stuff. Is this link still active?

I get the same error. I'll check into this for you.

I'll try to fix that, this week.
