Hi" glad I found this forum, looks like a lot of useful info. I currently do not have a pool (12' easy set Intex don't count lol). In any case, I'm looking at potentially putting in an In-ground pool next spring. So far I've been doing Lot of reading on the net looking at the big pool companies here in Maryland, however I dont nesesseraly would like to deal with a big installer, since they're typically priced higher then smaller companies. I was hoping someone here can recommend some good, hopefully in-expensive local installers that I can contact for a quote.
I'm located in Northwest Baltimore country in Maryland.
Ps. I have been looking at fiberglass pools, but certainly open for other options.
Thanks in advance.
Alex

Hi, Alex, and welcome to the Pool Forum! Unfortunately, we cannot supply names of people to hire. But, I can suggest a website that you might find interesting that a previous Pool Forum member made as he documented his pool build. http://www.howibuiltmyownpool.com/

Oh, and by the way ---- an Intex pool certainly does count as a pool! You get just as wet in a small Intex pool as you do in an inground pool!

Hope you enjoy the forum.

Hi and thank you for your response. First, my apologies, I certainly did not intend to break any forum rules by asking for company names, I will know for the future. Thank you for the link, I will check it out.

You guys will be seeing more of me here :)
