Hi everyone,
Had a package by the door today. My DPD powder opened during shipment so I don't have FC or CC readings. How does these numbers look to you?
15,000 gal. inground plaster. Sample taken after 1 hr. pump run.

PH: 7.5
TC: 1.0
TA: 110
CH: 180
CYA: 30

Pool is open year round in S. Florida.
Dosed the pool with bleach (after test).
Pump runs from 20:00 to 23:00 for bleach additions during night.

Hi, Steve your numbers look pretty good. By "dosed" I assume you put in enough bleach to bring your residual up to about 2-5ppm and will keep it there.

How does your water look?

Does your pump run other than the three hours you posted? It should.

You might consider using CalHypo as your chlorine source 'til you get your Calcium level up around 250....that's about where most folks run a plaster pool.

If your water looks nice...enjoy your pool.:)

That's a first*.

Email me at pooldoc AT pool9 DOT net, with your kit serial # and real name, and I'll send you a replacement.

Ben

*Or at least, the first time I've heard of that -- I realize not everyone lets me know when something goes wrong.

Good idea with the Ca Hypo. Kill two birds.
I run the pump for five hours in the afternoon also. The night shift is just for me and chemical additions.

Thanks,
