my husband is installing our pool he is a mason not a pool guy. we are do it yourselfers from nj. it is a 14 x 28 grecian 6 foot deep. we hit water as we were excaveting for the main drains. we have removed about 15" of dirt in the bottom and added stone and a temporary pump.
1. do we need a perminant pump to remove ground water to keep the liner in place (we will be appling a portland sand bottom)after construction?
2. Can I just use my pool pump to pump this water if a create a separate valve?
3. do we need a hydrostatic relief valve for the bottom?
any information would be greatly appreciated. thank you
