Hello,
I had bought a house with a pool for over 10 years now and one of the first years I owned the house my liner leaked over the winter and the water ran out, I called the pool company and they came out and said no big deal we will patch it in the summer.
well, in the summer I found that the edge of the pool came in about 1-1/2 inches in the middle on one side, and asking around people had told me that they should have put braces in over the winter so it would not bow.
anyways, because I have this crack and I will send pic's water gets in there and chipmunks and causes sink holes in the pool all the time. so I can eather pay 6 to 10 grand to have someone break the cement dig down and fix a sturt that is broken or bent. or I can fill the gap in. but I don't know with what? if I can keep the water from getting down in the crack I can stop getting sink holes .. but I don't know what to fill the gap with. I tried cement but it cracks and really doesn't seal the water out . I think I need a rubber like sealer .
can some one please help.
Mark

Hi gibby,

I can't answer your question, but just wanted to tell you to send your pics to poolforum@gmail.com, and refence this URL so Ben knows where to put them.

Hopefully somebody will be by soon that can give you some useable suggestions.

Welcome to the forum!
