A few days ago, I noticed water running down my tank from under the Multi-Port. After removing the Multi-Port, I found a hairline crack in the tank. Not being able to purchase the exact 22 inch American Products Eclipse tank, and not wanting to alter my pipes, I started looking for a sealer that would seal the small crack. The problem was finding an epoxy that would stick. After trying 4 different ones, I stumbled upon a product called Flex-Set available from West Marine. I figured this would be my last attempt before biting the bullet and buying a replacement tank. I sanded across the crack and used a PVC pipe cleaner to remove any residue, applied the product per instructions and it worked. Takes 24 hours to set. This is the best $24.99 I have spent in a long time.........

Id watch it carefully....the tank is under pressure. Wouldnt want that to be a safety issue if the epoxy lets go.
Ive had success fixing just about everything pool related (NOT under pressure) with a putty-type epoxy (its 2 separate colors and then you knead it until its all one uniform color, then apply to the crack), but I wouldnt really attempt a fix of something thats under pressure.
Personally I would be ordering another tank, at least your fix works while you wait for the new tank.

Thanks for the info and please post in a while ane let us know how it's holding. Also, there is no safety issue on these tanks. They are filled with water, incompressible, so even being under pressure if the crack lets go there will just be a poof and a stream of water, no blast. If the tank was filled with a gas, compressible, then you have a potential violent event.
