We are about to vermiculite the bottom of our T shaped inground pool kit. We have read much about how to mix and ideal surface conditions. But we cannot seem to find any information on how to string the bottom (we have round corners) or any other tips for the actual installation for the do-it-yourselfer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. (We tried to hire this out but the "contractor" keeps giving us one story after another about why he isn't up here doing it and we need it done ASAP). Thank you!

Specific construction how-to advice is not really our strong point here; we focus more on OPERATING pools, than on BUILDING them.
I'd see if the website associated with your brand of vermiculite has application data -- that will be, by far, the most reliable advice. Also, poolspaforum.com has a lot of builders registered. I don't know if they will answer your question or not, but some of them could. Just remember to put your sales resistance hat on -- that forum is moderated VERY differently than here, and there are quite a few spammers and so on registered and active.
