I have a autopilot model DIG-220.Last year at the end of the season the digital screen would go off when ever you tryed to check any of the readings or shut the pump off. If i shut it off and turned it back on the screen would come back on. When I started the pool about 4 weeks ago it was working fine but with in the last few days it went out and won't come back on at all.I did check the wire harness inside they seem to be all pluugged in . Any help with this problem would be appreciated thanks, Bill

Bill, I'm not sure as to why this is happening. I have not seen it before. I would only guess to check the incoming line wires when the display goes blank. That would mean remove the inner metal cover so you can test it without powering it down to take it off later.
I would suspect too, that the top display board (#833N) may be damaged.
KEEP IN MIND that there is a "Screen Saver" mode so that if no buttons are pressed within a 10 minute period, the display will go to a walking dot.... just a dot that moves along the top row of pixels then the bottom row, and back to the top. This goes on until any button is pressed.

If the buttons are not responding at all, you may want to take the top cover off and inspect the plastic stand off posts that the board is screwed down to. If they are split of broken off, it may be allowing the board to push away whenever you try pressing a button.
