I use COSTCO Trichlor Pucks/Tabs here in CANADA.
They are HTH brand by Arch Chemicals, Atlanta - NOT AquaChem.
Are these Canadian COSTCO pucks any good? Will they cause problems?

Does the label say what's in 'em? any copper?

No copper. Only Trichloro 100%,
available Florine content 90%.

However, their CrystalPlus Cl Reducer,
which I also use weekly, has/is
Copper sulphate 16%

You might want to take a sample to a pool store and ask them to test the water for copper and post the results here. (Just don't let them talk you into buying a bunch of stuff while you are there.)

Just curious....why do you use a Cl reducer? Or are they selling that as an algaecide? Chlorine is really the only algaecide you need, and I definitely wouldn't put anything with copper in it into my pool...
