any help with issue of opening pool for the 6 year but first with cloudy dirty water could it be that 2 year old cover is falling apart? or algae? what is best way to attack fill apply chem and turn pump on lmk thanks in advance

Do tou have a Taylor k-2006? Is pool dirty - green? We'll need numbers for Cyanuric Acid, pH, Free Chlorine, Combined chlorine to start to help. Run filter 24/7 on low, backwash as needed. If you don't have k-2006, see if you can find hth 6-way at wall mart. Pick up several gallons of bleach while you're there.
