Saw them in the store for the first time today--the generic is selling in 1 gallon jugs for the same price as the old 96 oz bottles ($1.54--still 6% strength). The price and quantity of the larger jugs is still the same. Wonder if we're in for a price increase on the gallons, or if the quantities are all about to change?

i saw these the other day. I had already put a few of the 3-quart jugs into my buggy and then took them back and put them on the shelf and got some of the 1 gallon jugs. Same price as the 3-qt. jugs as you said, didn't make sense not to!

Still getting a buck a bottle (96oz. 6%) at Aldi. Just got 8 cases. A guy stopped and said, "wow, that's a lot of bleach" and my daughter (13) said, "it's summer, we wear a lot of white."

Tried to find them myself last night, but no such luck. Here in MD Wally still only has the 96oz at $1.98 and the 182oz at $2.98.

Our local small Wal-Mart had the gallon jugs and when I bought them out, they have not gotten anymore in. Not sure if they will or if it was just a promo of some kind. back to the dollar store.

If you buy bleach from the dollar store, check the label. Some stores sell 3% sodium hypochlorite instead of the standard 6%.

My Walmart only sells 96oz and 1.42 Gallon sizes.. the 1.42 Gal are 2.98, which is a penny cheaper than the 1 Gal Target brand I was buying before. Glad I found that. Hopefully the 10 gallons I bought will last me the rest of the season now that my water is under control. :D

I went back to my local Walmart last night and found that the 1 gallons had arrived. They were labelled "33% more!" and were stocked in place of the 96 ounce bottles. The price sticker on the shelf still said 96oz, so this looks like a temporary "bonus" size of the 96 oz. Grab 'em if you see 'em - I cleaned my store out!
