Hi Folks,
I am looking for a wrench that will adjust to multiple fittings for my pump and filters. Seems when opening the pool there is always a leak here or there. I would like to have the tools to tighten and loosen all these fittings. Is there a universal tool for these plastic fittings???

You can use a strap wrench (Amazon links):
Alltrade Tools 260194 2 Piece 4-Inch and 6-3/8-Inch Grip Wrench Set (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006L9PO/poolbooks)
Klein S-6H Grip-It 6-Inch Strap Wrench with 1-1/2-to-5-Inch Capacity, Silver/Red (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000DIN9P/poolbooks)
Ridgid 31340 2-Inch Capacity Strap Pipe Wrench (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0016ZYJWS/poolbooks)
Ridgid 31360 5-Inch Capacity Strap Wrench (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0009W2TA8/poolbooks)
The first is a light duty set; the second might be the better choice. The last two are the 'real deal' -- Ridgid strap wrenches -- for pros. I'm a plumber, or was, many years ago, and have those buried somewhere, if I haven't lost them. But, the pro-type strap wrenches can collapse plastic pipe and fittings in a heart-beat. If you are an actual OV-10 Broncho mechanic, you've already learned to "hold your mouth right", and will have no problem. Otherwise, stick the first two.
