Anyone have any information on Solarmetrics SP20 solar heater controller?

Hi, does anyone have a troubleshooting guide and / or more information available on Solarmetric solar heating controllers?

We have a Solarmetric SP20 solar heating system which is not working anymore. The control unit powers up and the valve does work but in the 'automatic' setting, it never turns the valve so that the flow goes through (the manual position and the off position do make the valve rotate as desired so I'm wondering if one of the sensors or the board is bad but I do not know how to check that). I found one online supplier which appears to have some parts but they really don't have much information or description of the parts.

Turns out that it was a really easy - over the winter one of the contacts on the sensor on the roof broke, I just had to fix the connection and now everything is working okay again.
